Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this experience, despite a very responsive initial contact and a pleasant technician. I contacted this company about a stuck PVC window. After watching a video, they presented the diagnosis of a faulty cremone bolt as almost certain and offered a repair for €400 excluding VAT. Given the age of the window and the cost of a complete replacement, I hesitated to invest such a sum in a repair. After some discussion, they offered a €50 discount, bringing the price down to €430 including VAT. I finally accepted, mainly because a repair was supposed to be a faster and cheaper solution than a complete replacement. I was also very categorically assured that replacing the cremone bolt would solve the problem. Unfortunately, what followed was much more complicated. After the initial dismantling, the window, which had previously been stuck but closed, became completely stuck for several days, posing an obvious safety risk. Most importantly, I had to constantly follow up myself to find out the progress of the repair: part availability, appointments, postponements, schedules… Several times, I was told I would be back within minutes, but this never happened. Unforeseen circumstances and supply delays can obviously occur, but in such cases, I expect to be kept informed proactively, not have to constantly chase after information. I had also pointed out the condition of the hinges and the sagging of the window, which worried me about the effectiveness and durability of the repair. During the final intervention, I was told that adjustments had been made, but these were very quick. At this price point, I would have appreciated a more thorough inspection of this aspect and more explanation regarding the overall condition of the window and the long-term viability of the repair. Considering the €430 charge, I expected a significantly faster response and better follow-up. When the cost of a repair already represents a substantial portion of the price of a new window, its value becomes much less apparent if it requires so much time and follow-up, and leaves the apartment with a window that no longer closes. The repair was ultimately completed and the window is working again, which I obviously want to emphasize. Nevertheless, I remain very disappointed by the ratio between the price paid, the delay, the level of follow-up, and the overall service. It remains to be seen how the repair will hold up over time…

I recently had a problem with the cremone on my French windows and contacted Reparation Fenetre Paris. They responded quickly and professionally, and the technician was not only punctual but incredibly knowledgeable. He replaced the cremone efficiently and even realigned the handle and sliding track to ensure everything worked smoothly. Highly recommend for any window mechanism repairs in Paris!
