We were extremely happy with HappyBart’s renovation of our apartment, especially our project manager Greg. HappyBart is a great service from day one, accompanying you from help with the design, very transparent pricing structure, to execution of the details. In the construction phase Greg was reachable at all times and extremely detail oriented, while also being a lovely guy. Strong recommendation!

We used HappyBart for the renovation of our first apartment. Short story is they finished on budget and ahead of schedule! We are very happy with the results and everything turned out as we planned. There were minor hiccups and communication confusion along the way but I suppose this is normal in renovations and we were overly sensitive due to it being our first time. In the end, the team was very friendly, helpful and took extra care to make things perfect, coming back several times for small fixes as well as going out of their way to pick up materials around Berlin.

Renovation project originally contracted for ~3 months has now run for 25 months. During this time there were multiple extended periods without any response (including two periods of roughly three months each), three changes of project manager, several contract and invoice errors, and inaccuracies in the design/architectural plans (incorrect measurements, symbols, etc). As of today, a number of items remain unfinished or damaged. I’m attaching photos of some of these so readers can assess the work themselves. After six months without a reply, I informed the company that I intended to publish a review. I then received an offer to address some (but not all) of the outstanding items, conditional on further payment. When I asked for clarification on the amount, communication stopped again. Edit (re company response): HappyBart’s original reply states our contract was only for "bathroom renovation and painting of walls", that they "offered to restore your doors ...[and] were told this was out of your budget", and that the photos in this review are unrelated to their work. For clarity, I have added as photos some of their own (redacted) invoices to me for contracted line items beyond just bathroom renovation + painting walls, including sanding/painting doors and floor repairs. The photos in this review all relate to items we contracted with HappyBart and were invoiced for. Readers can compare HappyBart's own invoices to HappyBart's claims here, and judge for themselves.

I worked with Bart after another supplier cancelled at the last minute for painting and plastering several rooms in our office. Bart was extremely professional and helped me navigate this unexpected situation quickly and efficiently. He clearly understood my requirements, was able to schedule the work on short notice, and delivered a high-quality result. He also ensured that all building constraints and compliance requirements were fully respected. Highly recommended.
