For our old house (built in 1911), we needed a new heating system at the end of 2025, as our gas boiler had reached the end of its lifespan. The personal, very friendly, and competent consultation we received at our home ultimately convinced us. We were a little apprehensive because of GEP, a company we hadn't heard of before, but unlike other heat pump manufacturers or online retailers, they didn't advertise, which made a good impression on us. After signing the contract, everything moved incredibly quickly, and the young team in Berlin was very helpful. We communicated by phone, email, and video conference. The heat pump, which has a sleek and high-quality design, arrived about six weeks later. Two days later, the three installers came. Communication wasn't always easy, as only one of them spoke German. However, thanks to Google Translate, this wasn't a problem. The removal of the old gas boiler, the core drilling, and the installation of the heat pump with buffer tank and electrical wiring were completed incredibly quickly, within just two days. Our wishes were taken into account, and it's highly recommended to be present during the installation. The pump passed its baptism of fire at -10°C. However, it took three weeks to get all the air out of the radiators and for us to find the right settings. During a check with our consultant shortly after installation, it was discovered that a part wasn't working and a cable hadn't been connected (this didn't affect the heat pump's functionality). Another team was dispatched relatively quickly to rectify the issue. Now everything works perfectly, and we are very satisfied. Our house is warm, and the app control is very convenient. Minor technical questions/problems can be resolved by phone, as the technician can access the system online – how ingenious! We can absolutely recommend German Energie Power (GEP).
