Michael was extremely professional, informative, and helpful throughout the entire process of securing financing for our second property in Germany. As a US citizen, navigating a property purchase in Germany can be intimidating since the process differs quite a bit from the USA. The features on their website — mortgage calculator, closing cost estimator, and locked-in interest/Tilgung calculations — were extremely useful. Michael helped us secure financing through a great bank that accepted my US income without issues, and he constantly reached out to make sure everything was on track all the way to completion. Highly recommended. We’ll certainly use Hypofriend again when purchasing another property in Germany.

I also got referred by a friend and believing they handle things in a professional way.<br>Verification and checking documents and initial support to get bank feedback was good.<br><br>But during final sanction of loan percentage they messed it up as instead of agreed extra payment (Sondertilgung) for which document was signed they processed wrong percentage and without consent they sent to bank. After processing once loan was disbursed after long waiting time, they didn't even bother to correct issue. Only when I pointed out they told again bank will take 2 months to process again and by that time owner was already blocked for Notar formalities and it was a bad experience in my point of view.<br><br>What surprises me is they do discrimination and not handling some customers professionally and given a chance they will take money out of your pocket!!!!!!!!!
