I hired the company AGS to inspect my AEG dryer. I was quoted a price of €40 for travel and €11 for every 10 minutes of labor. Only after receiving the invoice did I discover that the labor charge starts from the moment the technician gets out of the vehicle – including the time spent traveling to my apartment, finding parking, etc. This crucial information was not communicated transparently when I scheduled the appointment, but only explained afterward when I inquired. The fact that this information is somewhere on the website is, in my opinion, no substitute for clear prior disclosure. The technician was in my apartment for a total of about 15 minutes, but I was billed for 30 minutes of labor. Even if this is permissible according to the price list, it doesn't reflect what a customer understands as "labor time." I didn't have the repair done because the control electronics were defective, and it wasn't economically viable. I was also told that a service call directly through AEG would supposedly cost around €150. This comparison is irrelevant from a customer's perspective, as I consciously chose this company. In conclusion: While the billing may be formally correct, the lack of transparency in the pricing is unacceptable in my opinion. Overall, this was not a satisfactory experience.
I purchased a Miele washing machine and a Miele dryer from this company and am completely satisfied. From the initial consultation to the final processing, everything was handled very professionally and with excellent customer service. I would particularly like to commend the after-sales service. After my washing machine malfunctioned, the company immediately took care of the warranty claim with Miele. The process was quick, straightforward, and absolutely exemplary. To my great surprise, I even received a higher-end model free of charge as part of the warranty claim. Such accommodating and reliable customer service is rare these days. Highly recommended – thank you for the outstanding service!
This company has absolutely nothing under control. For months they've been tinkering with a brand new dryer that hasn't even dried properly – AGS is clearly repairing things without any sense or expertise. They order spare parts that don't solve the problem, and they don't run any tests. Anyone else would have replaced the appliance long ago. AGS prefers to keep tinkering... how much longer will this go on...?
My dishwasher broke down just before Christmas. One quick phone call and the technician arrived the very next day. Friendly, competent, and systematic, he read the error codes and addressed the issues. Unfortunately, the pump seal was faulty, and a repair would have been prohibitively expensive. The machine was temporarily repaired so it could continue to be used in a "temporary" mode. The dishwasher's dimensions were recorded and sent to the company. At no point was there any pressure to buy a replacement immediately. That same day, I visited AGS and selected a suitable replacement that was available. It was delivered and installed the next business day, before Christmas, by two very polite and competent employees. It couldn't have been better! P.S.: Which dishwasher cleaner did the technician recommend for removing grease?
Not happy with service: my dishwasher was leaking water from the side, because I installed the drain too high, resulting in dirty water flowing back into the dishwasher, and the dishwasher automatically pumping the water away again, resulting in continuous circle of water getting pumped around. They were unable to detect this easy mistake. Instead they said something might be wrong with the machine and I had to spend more money to find out. Not sure if they were just too ignorant to know this or if they did know but were just trying to make money off me.
