Cologne has plenty of specialist retailers, both large and small, all offering significantly better, and above all, expert advice at considerably better prices. Who seriously believes that an English manufacturer would do anything better than the established German ones? Great marketing concept, but nothing more, sorry.
Highly recommended. I've bought paint here several times, both for the company and for myself. The quality is impressive. They took enough time to advise me and were happy to help with any special requests. Keep up the good work, please.
The online color consultation with Ms. Wülfing from Farrow & Ball was simply fantastic! She listened to our ideas and presented us with wonderful color scheme options for our home. The entire consultation was extremely professional. In addition, my orders arrived very quickly, and the staff were very accommodating with minor adjustments. A thoroughly positive experience. Thank you, Farrow & Ball Cologne, I highly recommend you!
This review is for the store, not the product: Even though we eventually found and bought (or rather, ordered) a color here, it seems to be a matter of luck which salesperson you get, and the other reviews confirm this. The initial consultation was very good and friendly; we used the color swatches to choose the right shade at home, and I planned to order it in-store another day. I have rarely experienced such a disinterested and unhelpful salesperson. Only after a few questions, when I was finally allowed to take my card to pay, did I encounter a hint of friendliness. A question or exchange, for example, was answered with the comment that the color was the cheapest and absolutely wonderful (at these prices, a few euros more or less didn't matter to us, but apparently, that's how the salesperson perceived me).
Stay away. Never try to buy from a saleswoman who wears glasses. The second one might be different. When I bought paint, they refused me. They said if I knew which one I needed, they would sell it. Then I thought, no, they don't sell it, but it's better to make an appointment. I made the appointment, drove there from a distant location, and on the way, this woman called me and canceled the appointment. I have never met a more incompetent and unfriendly saleswoman. For such a good brand, she is simply a disgrace. If you want advice and want to buy this brand, go to Bauhaus; they also sell it and will gladly sell it to you at the same prices.
