Renovation, Refurbishment & Drywall - since 1985 in Cologne

We contacted Ben Eckardt in March to get a quote for the complete renovation of our old apartment. His approach was very professional from the start, and he contributed many helpful ideas – thank you so much! The following work was carried out: -Painting and refinishing walls and ceilings -Demolishing a section of wall -Extending a wall projection -Laying the tiled floor -Installing the tiled backsplash in the kitchen -Repairing the wainscoting in the hallway (baseboard area) -All silicone joint sealing (The parquet flooring was not installed by the Eckardt team.) All work was completed to our complete satisfaction. The pricing was fair, and even with additional services, everything remained transparent and easy to understand. The total costs stayed within our budget. We wholeheartedly recommend Ben Eckardt and his team!

5 Stars – A Craftsman with Heart and Mind! From the very beginning, everything was perfect: Communication with Mr. Eckardt was quick, clear, and transparent. He always responded to inquiries in a friendly, competent, and patient manner. The quote was fairly calculated, clear, and without hidden costs. Even last-minute adjustments were handled without any fuss. But what truly makes this experience special is his friendly and approachable manner: Mr. Eckardt is not only a top-notch professional but also a very personable individual. Open, reliable, and genuinely enthusiastic and professional in his work – that's exactly the kind of tradesman you want.

Mr. Eckardt has been my trusted painter and drywall contractor for many years. Always competent, extremely reliable, meticulous, and all at a fair price! Even in challenging construction situations, such as in older buildings, Mr. Eckardt always finds a solution, provides excellent advice, and the results are consistently outstanding. Definitely 5 stars for Die Wand!

Ben Eckardt and his team renovated our apartment; every aspect of the work, from tiling and plastering to painting, was handled flawlessly in terms of cost estimates, planning, execution, and adherence to deadlines, and the work was completed to our utmost satisfaction. We would gladly use them again.

Ben and his team spearheaded the complete renovation of our house for over 12 weeks, working daily. This included roof insulation, demolishing, rebuilding, and plastering walls, laying genuine slate and tile, painting the basement and garage, sanding and repainting door and frame frames, welding on balcony railings, various repairs throughout the house, and much more. A true all-rounder! We are absolutely thrilled with the result! The guys worked cleanly and quickly, were always punctual, and practically invisible in the house because they were so discreet and focused on their work. The collaboration was always friendly and accommodating. What was particularly impressive was how Ben and his team anticipated our needs, noticed things we would have overlooked, and made the impossible possible. And all at a very fair price! It couldn't have gone better. Many thanks again for your first-class work!
