Quick installation and very good consumption figures, resulting in several hundred euros less in heating costs compared to the old oil heating system.

We are very satisfied with the heat pump. It works reliably and is easy to operate via the app or the thermostat. The installation team was well-trained, friendly, and installed the heat pump quickly and cleanly. The service team on the hotline is also very friendly, well-trained, and patient. K.-H. Dinstühler

Absolutely amazing service! I called to schedule AC maintenance, and they fit me in sooner than expected. The technician was polite and experienced, and he explained what needed attention without pushing extra services. My AC is now running better than ever.

AIRA Heat Pump: A Positive Experience! After thorough research and using relevant online portals, we decided in August 2025 to go with the Swedish manufacturer Aira, which has several service locations in Germany, including one near Cologne. The initial consultation at our home with Mr. Armin Javid was very professional, and all our questions were answered thoroughly. A potential location, the pipe routing, the complex installation process, and the four-week installation timeframe were discussed at length, leading to a fixed-price contract. A heating engineer then promptly visited the site to gather all the necessary information and prepare the required calculations, including photographic documentation, for the installation team. Several teams arrived promptly at the beginning of September. On the first day, the exterior work, including core drilling and the foundation for the outdoor unit, was completed, and the remaining excavated material was removed. Meanwhile, the actual installation team, consisting of a master heating engineer and two competent employees, dismantled the existing gas heating system and made preparations for the actual installation. Everything was completed cleanly and efficiently during the installation week. However, the third area, the electrical department, gave cause for concern. It turned out that a significant planning error had occurred beforehand regarding the installation location of the new meter cabinet, directly under a drainpipe, and the responsible electrician had to refuse installation at that location. After a phone call with the head of the electrical department, he offered to integrate the heat pump system into the existing distribution board even without the new cabinet. This was permissible according to VDE regulations and was initially carried out accordingly, which would have also saved costs. However, I had meanwhile learned that the integration of my photovoltaic system by the solar company, which had already been planned during the initial consultation, was not feasible without the new meter cabinet due to binding requirements from the grid operator. Upon raising my objection during the installation week, I immediately received assurances that the electrical work, including the new meter cabinet, would be amended promptly. Unfortunately, this dragged on for several weeks, and I was repeatedly put off. There is clearly room for improvement here! The electrical department at Aira should have recognized this planning error beforehand. Ultimately, however, this part was also completed properly, and the system is working perfectly. I can definitely recommend Aira with a clear conscience. Regarding the process, the necessary forms for applying for government funding from the KfW Bank were provided in an exemplary manner, and assistance was available whenever needed, ensuring everything proceeded reliably as promised. The payment terms were also positive: the total amount less the subsidies was paid immediately, and the remainder was due upon receipt of the government grant. The installers involved deserve special praise, and above all, the initial consultant, Mr. Javid, remained a reliable contact person until the very end.

From the first minute to completion, everything went flawlessly. All the installers had a confident demeanor. On Friday, the oil was pumped out, the oil tanks were disposed of, and the new heat pump was delivered. Then on Monday, Fabio Markert arrived promptly at 7 a.m. in a good mood. His expertise and competence are perfect. The system was slightly rescheduled on-site with us as the customer, which, in my opinion, is what makes a top-notch craftsman who knows his craft. His colleagues Nick Weiß and Marcel Hildebrand are also top-notch craftsmen who know their craft. Keep up the good work... Always happy to come back... Dominik, you spelt dörte, I almost forgot about you... As I said, always happy to work with you 😉 P.S. On Monday, the oil heating was removed, and in the evening, hot water again thanks to the H ydrobox...
