Leak detection indoors for up to 3 hours: €380 flat rate. Travel expenses: €79. + 19% VAT = €546.21. The actual work time on my end was less than 20 minutes. The technician on site was friendly and, as far as I could tell, had comprehensive expertise. A leak could only be ruled out using moisture measurement and thermography. The point of criticism is the flat-rate pricing (0-3 hours), which isn't visible online. This wasn't communicated beforehand, either by phone or in writing. My mistake; I didn't ask. From a business perspective, it certainly makes sense, as revenue and time expenditure are easy for Speidel to calculate. However, it feels far too expensive, especially for just 20 minutes. In summary: Good work on site, opaque pricing policy, flat rate instead of a "real billing system".
After calling Speidel, it only took a few days for someone to arrive, assess the water damage, and give the all-clear. I had expected a much longer wait. Despite staff shortages, the employee was very friendly and professional, and took the time to locate the source of the damage and explain everything. I can therefore highly recommend Speidel.
