We had four wooden windows and a patio door replaced. First, the good news: The windows are really beautiful, and the installers did a good and clean job. Unfortunately, the whole process took three months instead of the promised three days. First, two windows were delivered in the wrong size. Then, one window had a scratch in the space between the panes. The replacement pane was then delivered in the wrong size again. In the end, the company Rekord had to come five times, we had to keep five appointments free, and each time we had to prepare everything, clearing the windowsills and work area. It seems no employee is truly responsible or makes sure everything runs smoothly. Our impression is that the different departments aren't coordinating properly with each other. No apology, no compensation for the extra work and inconvenience. What did happen very quickly, however, was the bill.
Excellent! A now rather rare exception among tradespeople: The company and its employees are reliable, friendly, responsible, and accommodating. The quality of the windows is very good – I've had only positive experiences with my second order as well! There were a few minor errors in the workmanship of the first order, which can happen, and all of them were rectified promptly and courteously – something that's no longer a given. Highly recommended.
