Go somewhere else. This notary is a disaster. I had to hire a lawyer. All I wanted to do was sell my house. The sale has been dragging on for eight months already. To this day, I haven't received a single cent of the purchase price. It involves several plots of land and a house. A third party has a right of residence and use. This person was supposed to sign a subordination agreement so that a mortgage could be registered. This mortgage was supposed to secure my purchase price because the buyer is paying in installments. At first, I received no response to my request to have the purchase agreement drawn up, even though I had spoken to the notary's staff and they had assured me I would get a reply. Only after a bad Google review was the contract finally drawn up, but a small plot of land was missing. Inquiries from the authorities (because of the missing small plot) went unanswered by the notary for weeks. Later, a supplementary agreement was drawn up. Everything was signed. I thought, now things will finally move forward. But suddenly, the notary opened an escrow account and demanded that the buyer transfer the initial down payment of €30,000 into it, even though such a provision was not included in the contract. Furthermore, at a meeting where only the subordination agreement for the small plot of land was to be signed, and neither the buyer nor the seller were present, he accepted an escrow instruction from this third party. The situation remains unresolved.
