Having completed numerous renovations in my houses and apartments over the years, Alstertaler Fensterbau is among the best! Everything was meticulously planned, installed on schedule, and worked perfectly from the start. The construction sites were clean, and the staff were competent and courteous. That's exactly what you want as a homeowner. DIY stores might seem "cheaper" at first glance, but a specialist company like this is "worth the money."

Completely unrealistic, exorbitant prices. Quotes were obtained from several different companies for the same service. Alstertaler's quote was at least twice, and in some cases even four times, as expensive as those from other well-known/reputable companies. However, the quote was sent faster compared to the others, hence the second star.

We purchased an aluminum front door in spring 2025. Mr. Maas and Mr. Glimmann provided the consultation. Patrick and Alex installed the door, and we highly recommend them. We have rarely encountered such professional tradespeople. Everything was to our complete satisfaction!

Hello valued readers of honest reviews, I don't often write reviews, and then I tend to do so when I'm totally thrilled or sometimes when I've been unexpectedly seriously disappointed. I'm so thrilled here that I wish I could give it a plus in addition to the 5 stars! ;-) Why? With pleasure: we undertook a major renovation of our existing building and converted a recessed terrace on the first floor into a room. As a building owner, it's always a tricky situation when you draw up the plans, and even more so when they slowly begin to be implemented. With attention to detail, they managed to show me a different perspective and offer possible alternatives right from the planning phase in always productive and friendly, professional discussions. The respective advantages and disadvantages, as well as the challenges, of the various options were explained to me patiently, clearly, and understandably. This meant that we could, with a clear conscience, say goodbye to one or two fixed and seemingly great ideas and look forward to a functionally and structurally better, often cheaper, and more durable solution. During the implementation, we truly had a great time with everyone involved. A good mood, focused work, pleasant conversation, cool 80s music, and constant communication were just some of the normal aspects that made the result so excellent. If there were any problems, new ideas, or simply something to discuss, we could contact them at any time (I mean, any time) and receive quick and knowledgeable answers. The question of price. Yes, good craftsmen have their price. This was absolutely fair when compared, and there were essentially no deviations from the estimate. Time and again, by thinking things through together and comparing, we got more for less. Even when things went a little wrong, solutions were found that were very fair for both sides. For me, this is what truly characterizes the commitment to the project and the client! In short: If anyone wants to build stress-free, they should go with these guys. Tip: Good tradespeople are hard to come by, so involve them early in the planning process – I think at least six months before the planned start of construction. So, thank you again for the great collaboration, continued success, and stay open, honest, reliable, kind, and direct! Auf Empfehlung bin auf Alstertaler Fenster aufmerksam geworden. Ich wurde sehr gut beraten (telefonisch und vor Ort) und fühlte mich sofort gut aufgehoben. Die Mitarbeiter haben sehr gute Arbeit geleistet und waren schnellfertig. In kürzester Zeit hatte ich das neue Fenster und die neue Terrassentür im Haus. Alles hat sehr gut geklappt und ich komme mit Sicherheit wieder auf die Firma zurück wenn ich weitere Fenster tauschen muss.
