Today was my second session here where no teacher showed up with no notice of cancellation. The other time was a few months ago for a 6:45 am session. *Two out of the three sessions I have had here have been cancelled without notice.* (In fairness, the one session I have had here was good.) What is even crazier is that our group - which realized in the first 5 min that no teacher would show up, since many of us had had previous experiences with this studio wherein a teacher did not show up or sent cancellation notices a few hours before a session - decided to try having a session on our own with a YouTube video while one of us biked to the sister studio HerSpace (which I love!) in order to go inform them of the missing teacher… and: *About 45 min later an employee of HerSpace arrived and abruptly told us we need to leave immediately because she’d been told by her manager to lock the studio up, and she did this without even saying sorry on behalf of the business*. She was extremely rude and said it was “süß” that we had a session without the teacher but didn’t say sorry at all. She merely said “I’m not responsible for this.” Many of us were shocked by her blasé (not my problem/whatever) attitude. Unfortunately, you cannot rely on this studio to be operating.
Such a great studio with different options🙂 Candle light yoga is for stretching, kind of meditation; Spicy bootcamp and Full body workout i can definitely recommend for the ones looking for kalori killer workouts. Barre is also good for stretching and core
My happy place! 💚 I've been going to The Good Gym for more than a year now and up to this day it's still my favorite studio in the city. I really appreciate the calm and cozy atmosphere, and its sustainable concept. Besides, the place has a beautiful jungle theme. Shout-out to Camille, she's so knowledgeable, I'm always amazed by her pilates classes, and Aleyna, for her positive energy and passion, and for introducing me to boxing.
Nice and cosy studio with everything you need. I would love to thank Sophie for subbing a Vinyasa class yesterday at Her Space! She did a great job, she is very professional and comes to correct you when you are doing wrong, which I truly appreciate. From the soundtracks to the flow itself, from the warm up to the energy and fresh air you let inside, everything made sense ! I wish she would teach Vinyasa as well in the nearest future, you are so talented Sophie , thank you :-)
The Good Gym is hands down one of the best training spaces I’ve found in Munich. It’s beautifully designed, welcoming, and has a strong sense of community without ever feeling cliquey or intimidating. I joined a Strength Flow class and loved how energizing yet focused it was – smart programming, great music, and a trainer who really knew how to challenge without overwhelm. As an English speaker, I really appreciated that the class was held in English – it made everything so much more accessible and let me focus on form rather than trying to translate instructions mid-workout. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. The Good Gym isn’t just about looking fit – it’s about feeling capable, confident, and supported. I leave every session stronger in more ways than one.
