The initial consultation was excellent, but from the moment I first asked questions, made comments, or requested assistance, I never heard from the company again. So, my trip to their showroom for advice on potential doors was completely wasted. Pfeil & Sons never provided a final offer. However, if you have no questions and are therefore an easy customer, you'll certainly be in good hands here!
From the initial phone consultation and quote to the completion of our Roto roof window repair, less than six weeks passed. The technician was competent, friendly, and completed his work quickly and cleanly. We felt very well taken care of by Pfeil & Sons and are happy to recommend their service!
My experience with Pfeil & Sons during the complete replacement of a sliding/lifting door hardware system was entirely positive. It began with a detailed and expert telephone consultation based on descriptions and photos. The result was a recommendation to replace the hardware with a significantly easier-to-use successor model. The work was carried out by experienced professionals within the agreed timeframe, well-prepared with all necessary materials, tools, and equipment – no, that's not something you can take for granted. I haven't dealt with such a professional and fair company in a long time, and I am happy to recommend them. I will continue to preferentially commission Pfeil & Sons for any future window-related services.
Our patio door (built in 1994) was repaired, having already been repaired twice before. The previous company told us that the door was too heavy (due to new glass panes) and that the old hardware was no longer available. The employees of Pfeil & Sons demonstrated that the previous repairs had been shoddy work. The door was removed, fitted with new hardware, reinstalled, and perfectly adjusted. We were assured that the glass was not too heavy and that the wooden door was still in very good condition. They also confirmed that the door could be repaired again in the unlikely event of further damage. In short: excellent employees and a top-notch company – simply superb. Many thanks!
