I recently visited a commercial property (a 53 sq m store) in Chalandri, following an ad by Keller Williams Greece on Spitogatos.gr, which clearly described it as "renovated". Unfortunately, the actual image of the property was completely different from the description. The store was essentially unfinished: cables were hanging, the sockets and doors from the bathrooms were missing, there was a hole in the ceiling of the toilet, the ventilation was on the floor, while the exterior was completely unpainted (on concrete) and the glass was covered in graffiti. After we signed the suggestion, we were informed by the realtor Ms. Kaklea that the property would only cover the shop window and the electrical panel. The cost to make the space viable and functional would have to be borne by us, with the argument that the rent was "low" (€600/month for 53 sq m), which of course is not true for a space in such a construction state. The most disappointing thing, however, was the final communication. Although we were initially told that we had priority, our communication was abruptly cut off. The office representative did not even let me finish my proposal on the phone and hurriedly "good night" to me, while I found that the property had already been given. I believe that the practice of advertising as "renovated" a property that requires radical construction interventions by the tenant is misleading and a big waste of time for prospective clients. I expected greater professionalism.
