Absolutely wonderful stay at Heiðin. I don't think I've had a more lovely entrée into a rented space ever. There was a crackling 'fire' on the television screen and a beautiful scent permeating the house. The furnishings are new and exceptional. This was my favorite stay in Iceland...even after coming from luxury accommodations at the Blue Lagoon. The house is in close proximity to Akureyri, Diamond Circle, Forest Lagoon, and other northern sites.
Fantastic stay! Everything was in perfect condition and the host was outstanding, went above and beyond to make sure the stay was comfortable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others :)
Had a great stay! The accomodation was cozy, spacious and very clean, just perfect! The owners are very kind and friendly. They are great at recommending and explaining things. Really awesome people. :) Love this place!
I really enjoyed my stay, we were 4 people in the house, and it was perfect to have a rest day during our trip in Iceland. The host is welcoming, and also very helpful and gave us some very good recommendations. The scenery is wonderful and being so close to Akureyri makes life easy. The house was very modern and clean, and the utilities (especially the laundry machine) were very practical.
