The best hotel we stayed during our trip in Iceland. The apartment was clean and new, and the kitchen was spacious and well functioned. There is also wash machine which wasn't a common facility in other properties in Iceland. But seems you have to stayed for at least two nights.
Our family of five stayed in the Hrimland Cottages this summer and were blown away by how comfortable and clean the cottages are. Besides stunning views over the city, the beds are super comfy and the kitchens well stocked. One of the best places we have stayed in Iceland hands down.
Two families of four stayed in a Luxury Cottage and it was very comfortable. The place was very clean and well maintained although the light in the bathroom didn’t work and it took 2 days for someone to come and change it which is less than ideal. The location is fantastic as it’s high over Akureyri so you get these amazing views of the valley and sky. The floors are heated and the WiFi was very fast which was good for keeping everyone connected and entertained. However the TV didn’t work as when you turned it on it asked for a PIN code that we couldn’t figure out. This wasn’t a huge deal since we were out the whole day but a bit of a bummer. Luckily as I said the WiFi was fast enough we could use our own devices. The location is great for seeing Akureryi and sights of Diamond Circle for large groups. I would recommend it for those who plan on using it as a base for making trips each day.
Beautiful houses with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice living room with kitchen. Quite new and good quality inside and outside. Good place to be and enjoy the view. Not too far away from downtown, but quite uphill-you better go there by car
The cottages have been perfect for our family of four adults. Warm and cozy, well appointed with a fully functional kitchen, bath and laundry. The internet is crazy fast. Nice views over the city and the mountains. The location is excellent with supermarkets nearby. The only downside is that the hot tub fills from the drain. Meaning the hair from prior users comes to the surface. We couldn't use it.
