WAY over priced. Four pieces. Two T -shirts and two thermal underwear 7,501 isk. Same day service out of KEA Hotel = 65 USD! Clothes returned folded nicely in cheap plastic bag. I should have asked, right?! Didn’t dream it would be that much. Hotel staff didn’t flinch. It was offered as a perk to this hotel. I am filing a complaint with Gohagan but not their fault but maybe for having not warned us.
they lost some socks and other clothing, the stuff didn't taste clean, it had a strange smell. They told us we could go and collect it on Saturday but there was no one there, at a certain point a very rude person arrived and we were able to take our stuff. Very expensive and the price does not compare to the service
They lost three different socks, and I got one which was not mine. I paid 42€ for the laundry service, which is absolutely insane. Do not go there!
The person at reception was friendly, they washed a bag of 2 weeks clothes for around 5000 isk which is nice The clothes were clean and dry the next day I recommend this laundry if you travel in Iceland
Just an FYI we stopped today to get some laundry done and were told it would take 5 hours! Everyone else’s reviews said 2-2.5 hours so we were surprised to say the least. We are not staying in Alureyri so that wasn’t going to work for us.
