I don't know anything about the Fosssa company, but the house is really beautiful and well maintained. I get 5 stars for that and the grounds are also neat. It should be noted that Gunnar Thoroddsen (minister and more) was born in this house and grew up here. In Hallargarður right next door there is a statue of Gunnar on a sky-high pedestal, as is often the case with artwork by Sigurjón Ólafsson. It would be a good idea to just move the statue here. Then maybe Gunnar would also be seen because the grounds here are lower than the sidewalk and therefore the effect of the high pedestal would be reduced.
