What an awesome day! Picked up a great tshirt. Got to break it in with a good workout session. And best of all, I got to meet the man himself!! Internally I was screaming like a school girl, but I think I composed myself pretty well (only stuttered 3 or 4 times). Been following strongmen for almost a decade now, so this was a pretty huge deal for me (some pun intended).
Went during a weekday. Met Thor himself. Saw him training, very nice gym, has all the equipment needed for strongman, powerlifting or any strength sport. Has also an area of machines, store , changing room with showers. 3000 ISK for a day pass as of January 2026. Gym was basically him with his supporting team, and maybe 2 more users besides me, anyone in any level of experience could have a very good training here
It was awesome meeting the legend and training in his gym. His equipment is SO GOOD! His folks were so cool, his friends were accommodating and Thor was kind enough to greet us and take photos before his deficit deadlift set. He is a real inspiration to me and my guys back in Richmond VA. Thanks for all you guys do.
Thor was already in his car when we arrived and when he saw us he came out of his car and took some photos with us. This was really friendly and impressed us! He is even bigger than you expect from YouTube. The gym and also the shop are both great and nice to see. There is a good atmosphere everywhere. If you are interested in strength sport this is a great place to visit
Fantastic gym, called in for a quick session when visiting Iceland, bumped into the Mountain himself training with his dad, really friendly family run gym, amazing equipment, and some unique equipment that you will not see anywhere else. I would highly recommend you go when in Iceland to get your gym fix!!
