The rooms were absolutely stunning a lot of amenities including washing machines/hair dryers/kitchenette/ fridge/ freezer/ kitchen utensils were fully equipped. Just everything you needed for a budget stay. The location is not too bad, it’s next to bonus which is an affordable place to shop. We did this on first day and cooked for the whole stay of 5 days. It’s next to a bus stop that takes you directly to the centre of Reykjavík (bus number 4) they go roughly every 15/30 mins depending on day and they always showed up on time. We did have some problems checking in on the first day which was 1 of the 2 problems we had. The PIN code wouldn’t work on the front door. It’s all self check in so they send you a code via which booking company you booked it through. Which we received but the code did not work. We contacted them via WhatsApp chat which they responded instantly which is great service. They managed to fix the problem within 10 minutes. But it was just a huge panic. As well our hob didn’t work and we had bought pasta and other stuff that needed to be fried on the hob. So we did waste food because of this issue. Room 303 to be precise. The staff were very quick and responsive via their WhatsApp chat. Almost instant. Very happy with how they dealt with the problems and would like to thank them for the stay.

Overall, this was a somewhat pleasant stay for us. The location was good as it was not too hard to navigate from here to stores, restaurants, coffee shops and the roads to other locations. This apartment hotel is new and modern. But there are problems that were not fixed during our week stay here. The lighting left much to be desired as it was very dark inside our room. At night if we wanted fresh air it was not possible because it would mean that we had to open the door to the balcony that was easily accessible for other people to come into our room. In the daytime we could open that door to get more sunlight into our room. The garage was the worse as it took a person to go out of the car to open via security code that was located on the right side of the wall from the inside of the garage. From outside going into the garage, we would enter the code and drive in. Also during our stay, the garage alarm was tripped for some reason and the alarm was blasting through the garage when we arrived. No staff around to turn that very loud annoying noise off. I had to text the staff to let them know and they do not answer right away. There is no staff on the premises. Any issues need to be texted.

Great location, very close to the supermarket and bus stops. Clean bathroom. Stylish and nice rooms. Great choice for a short stay. However, there are a few things that are not obvious at first but become inconvenient later: no handle on the bathroom door, the room has windows that are about 2,5 meters high, with a small vent at the very top, which is hard to reach because it’s so high up, the bed has no back, so it is directly connected to the cold concrete wall.

We stayed here on our last night in Iceland. It was a great location (walkable to restaurants, cool little microbrewery, grocery store). The apartment was well equipped, clean, and modern. There was great communication when we had questions about other parking because we had a larger campervan that didn’t fit in the garage. Thanks for an great place to stay on our last night!
