If you are looking to rent a lense for your Iceland trip, look no further !!! Travelling from Canada, I definitely wanted to avoid the hustle of carrying a massive lense rented from there. I contacted the shop few days before my arrival date, and they have been amazing at replying all my questions and found a lense that would fit on my camera. I ended up renting a canon 100-400mm + adaptor to fit my eos r body and it’s been a dream ! I got some amazing puffin shot, and I am forever grateful for Beco warm welcome and amazing customer services !!
Fantastic camera store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that went out of the way to find something that would fit my needs. Highly recommend this store for anything camera related. In a world with camera stores disappearing, this one is a gem! I was on vacation and realized I forgot some critical camera gear. I feel the price was VERY fair for their gear especially in a country outside of my residency. As I mentioned above, stop in and support a local business especially if you are into photography.
Stopped by to have our Nikon camera repaired after it fell off the table in our campervan while exploring Iceland. They fixed it up in minutes; after a quick friendly chat and some travel tips we were on our way. The service and friendliness at this store is phenomenal. Not only are Beco’s team fully knowledgeable and resolutive professionals, but also attentive and kind as few times I have seen. I had had an unfortunate accident with my camera and they moved as quickly as possible to find me the best replacement to match my gear the very moment I got to their place first hour in the morning, while devoting fully to helping with every detail. It was already mid-afternoon when I left with my new equipment feeling really grateful for I would be able to fully enjoy 📸 my expedition in the Highlands and my last days in Iceland. They undoubtedly are the best photo store, service and human team in the island. Thank you for all your help and time. Will have no doubt in visiting when I’m back in Iceland again!
This is “the” camera shop to visit if you’re coming to Iceland. I bought a Fish Eye lens and adapter. The staff offered me a cup of tea. I was blown away by the selection of camera, cleaning kits and accessories. It’s honestly a photographers paradise! Thanks to the lovely sales team. I’ll be back again!
