Excellent service: we were seen late Sunday afternoon without any waiting. The dentist saw our son immediately and devoted the necessary time to treat him properly despite the late hour. The receptionist was also very kind. We highly recommend this clinic.
I was flossing the night before and my filling popped out. That evening I reached out to find an emergency dental location in Reykjavik. I was able to get in touch that evening via email and I had a great appointment the next morning. Everything was easy for communication in English. I also made sure I provided all of the information I needed for insurance. They followed up via email and provided the scans I needed for documentation (the doctor here doesn't provide "summary" of appointment which my insurance asked for, but honestly it wasn't even needed; that's just not a part of the dental practice in Iceland apparently). I received all of the documents I needed for my insurance. Regardless, it wasn't even as expensive as I was expecting (I think it was $300-400 in total before getting reimbursed).
Good dentist and very helpful, even on a weekend! Procedure was painless and he explained everything he did as well. Would go again.
While traveling in Iceland (from the US) I fell and chipped 3 of my front teeth. I needed emergency dental services immediately and this dentist was able to see me within about an hour of me calling even though it was a Sunday. He was very professional and did a great job at glueing back two pieces, creating an entirely new part of my other tooth that was missing, and realigning a tooth. You can’t even tell anything happened! The dentist was very gentle. It was a relatively painless procedure after my mouth was numb. He gave me an itemized receipt so that I can follow up with my insurance when I get home. The office is about a 10 minute taxi ride from downtown Reykjavik. He even called a taxi for me after he was done so that I could get back to my hotel. I would recommend this dentist if you need emergency dental work done while in Reykjavik (hopefully that never happens). If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back for other dental services!
