My car was hit by another car's door in the parking lot, I filed a report for this with the insurance company along with a photo of the culprit's car, because my girlfriend saw it and took a photo. Then the company agent answered me that they could not repair my car, because they called the culprit and asked if he did it, and the culprit replied that he did not do it, in which case, in their opinion, it means that there is not enough evidence... And what else did he have to answer? And what is the point of paying for maximum insurance if you will not receive compensation for the damage to yours in any case. Pay for the cheapest insurance, in the cheapest insurance company, so that you have money left to repair your car, it is much more profitable. Because repairing my car costs 100 thousand, and I pay 360 thousand per year, do the math yourself!!! I and my whole family are leaving the Sjova insurance company. I will also do everything to ensure that all my acquaintances and friends leave this company. I have a full insurance package for my car with this company, and I thought that this was the best insurance company in Iceland, because it was the most expensive, but it was a mistake, because I have been using their services for 3 years and I have not had a single incident, and here for the first time my car was hit and the insurance company did not return anything to me. PEOPLE, DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY, BECAUSE THEY ARE SCAMMERS WHO ONLY WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY
Everything looks nice from the outside, but the commitment to customer service is low. Lack of understanding, mechanical approach to the client. The nod of the older man behind the desk meant that nothing could be done. It took more time to refuse help than it did to print the document I asked for. I recommend more humanity
Went to car wash Lind*n, had a few dents on my cars bodywork, caused by their worker. Sent a report by electronic form with attached photo, the form doesn't take more that one or two phone made photos depending on quality otherwise the form will not be processed. Anyway, The car wash denies. When I had to remind Sjóvá staff in charge of my case for asking for their video footage. The reply later came that he did as I asked and the carwash owner said that nothing shows anything that supports my claim, just taking his words. No serious procedures to check or verify whether the car wash owner tell lies or not his words are enough. Imagine you go to have your car cleaned and on the way out you earn few dents, and no-one is willing to check out who is right and who is wrong. You claim the damage, the damage causer company denied and that's enough to deny the claim, your words worth nothing and written denial is enough. BTW, car washing companies do not have insurance against damage caused by automated washing machines. Only damages caused by human staff members. Even though that wasn't the case in my claim, the car wash have the power to say no and that's it. Do not recommend it either the car wash or the insurance company.
Becouse Of car acident SJÓVA insurance company they hjálpað á lot ang and everything was solved within two working days. I am very grateful for companys help.
Sjóvá is an Icelandic insurance company. One of the oldest and well established. They cover most everything and both their website and phone service is quite clear and easy to navigate. I have not been to the office for some time but it is accessible. It's located right across from Kringlan, Icelands first shopping mall, and it's second largest. Last time I went I felt the atmosphere was quite good.
