Keflavík Airport, Iceland I had an incredible experience with Airport Associates, the independent ground‑handling partner at Keflavík Airport (KEF) . A week after losing my AirPods, their team tracked them down and personally delivered them all the way to my departure gate—a level of service and dedication I’ve rarely seen! Efficient lost & Reliable communication: I was kept up to date throughout the process and never felt in the dark. We've just dealt with this company at Reykiavik airport and it was the worst experience ever. Extremely rude staff, agents of Play airline, when we asked for their name as we wanted to complain about the service, they decided to refuse to check us in. Please stay away from them and Play airline!
We were dealing with “Airport associates” and it was one of the worst experiences in my life. Play airline is the worst airline I ever traveled. We live in Australia, so used to many different cariers, their policies etc. They sat our 4 year old, me (dad) and my wife with baby in 3 different seats(rows). They charged us for every single kilogram extra. They didn’t let our daughter’s tiny suitcase as personal item because it was ONE CENTIMETER too long. It was 8kg instead of 10kg allowed and they charged us €110 at the gate. So dodgy and unprofessional especially when traveling with 2 small kids.
I've never had a worst experience at an airport. Aloisio, a supervisor with airline associates, kef, is an absolute liar and a snake. I was denied boarding due to an oversold flight, Aloisio lied to me over and over again. Everything he told me about how I'd get a refund was a lie, I've yet to receive one. He told me I'd get put up in a hotel, and I'd recieve meal vouchers there. I even asked him if the food there was good, and he said it was. Once I got to the hotel I was told the airline hadn't paid for my room, and they didn't even have a restaurant. I've never been more disrespected and taken advantage of in my life, than when I was trying to fly out of FEK
