CampEasy Iceland

On our third trip to Iceland, we rented the Clever 4x4 camper from CampEasy to explore remote and less touristy areas, and we would absolutely recommend them. The camper was in excellent condition, the interior space was very well designed, and it made travelling around Iceland easy and comfortable. From the very beginning, the CampEasy team was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the booking process smooth, keeping in touch throughout the trip, providing clear instructions (we used the self-service option), and taking care of every detail along the way. Very very nice, strong recommendation! I was extremely happy with everything!! I booked the Tesla Model Y Camping from their website just for myself for three days. There is a little bit of work needed to familiarize yourself after the booking is done especially if you do the self service check-in, in case you pick the car up outside their opening ours. Also, if doing the self service check-in don't start immediately your journey since there is a document to sign that needs to be dropped at their mail box and for the Tesla there is also the key card to be picked up. Both things I forgot since it is possible to use the Tesla via the Tesla App all the time as long as you never run out of battery. I contacted them via mail and send them pictures of the signed documents. Their service was really good as they answered quickly and it was no problem for them that I forgot those things. Moreover, sleeping in the Tesla was better than expected. All three nights I slept well without disturbance. I'm 1.74 m tall and it was perfect but could be if you're much taller than I it might be difficult. Overall I'd recommend campeasy and their Tesla Model Y Camping as a solo traveler but even with two I believe it's doable with a little bit of workaround. Lastly, choosing the Tesla is also a budget-friendly option compared to the other Campervans they offer and even more cheaper considering that electricity is cheap in Iceland.

It was a very nice experience to explore Iceland in a van. CampEasy has a great service. We rented the „small easy exp“. It was small but cozy and had more storage than expected. We had an amazing time in this cute van. Highly recommended! Thank you

CampEasy made our Iceland trip absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, their team was super friendly, helpful, and responsive in real time. The support, planning, and advice on routes and safe roads made everything so easy. The camper van was perfect — comfortable, efficient, and fully equipped for cold temperatures. We spent five days exploring Iceland, and thanks to CampEasy, it was a unique and unforgettable experience. The only small note: the snow tires were good, but some locals suggested tires with extra studs for even better traction on ice. Still, we had no issues at all. Traveling in Iceland can be unpredictable, but CampEasy made us feel prepared, safe, and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back and explore more — and we’ll definitely choose CampEasy again!

We had a fantastic experience driving the Tesla Camper in Iceland for two weeks this past September. We had doubts at the beginning being an electric car, but we were surprised how easy it is to find charging stations along the way. It was very comfortable for driving (comes with autosteer!) and sleeping. We had the opportunity to drive some f-roads too!
