The hotel is okay for its price and has everything you need inside, with a cozy atmosphere. However, every morning started with construction noise, the rooms were extremely noisy, and snow wasn’t cleared from the entrance, which was unpleasant.
The first unit was towards road, so we requested to switch to another unit. Luckily they were nice enough to give us another unit, which was very quiet and peaceful. We recommend to request apartment away from road if you're sensitive to noise. There was a large grocery store close by. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to make food at the apartment, which saved us a lot of money. Reykjavik isn't very big, so getting downtown by bus or walking is not a problem. Apartment was modern, clean and overall comfortable. The first unit was towards the road and was a little noisy. We contacted the host and got switched to another unit, which was perfect. There was some small issues. The bathroom sink was unnecessarily small. There was actually space for a bigger sink. Wifi reception was a bit low at times (but fine most of the time). It feels like the unit is big enough, but the furniture is not making best use of the space. The washing machine and oven were a bit gimmicky. We had to apply some trial and error to get them working. There could have been more space (cabinets) for clothes.
Has everything you need within the apartment as in shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, cloth, hand towel, towels, hair dryer, washing up liquid, dosh washer, kettle, toaster, oven etc. It is located within walking distance to supermarket, shops, bars and the town. Has parking right outside. Friendly and helpful staff and very quick to respond to your queries. The apartment is very modern and every little bit of space is well used. We would definitely book again and recommend to others. The price was reasonable too.
Super cute and convenient. Has all the required items in the apartment. Easy to use facilities and free parking. Very secure and safe. Nice view ans easy accessible to downtown. If you are lucky you may get to see the northern lights just outside your window
Great apartment, everything is equipped. Shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, toilet paper, washing up liquid, dishwasher and everything else. But the price is still very expensive and there is no closet. You have to live out of a suitcase. A bus stop is also very close.
