I left a message on their website before the shop opened, clearly explaining the problem with my washing machine. It should be noted that this company was my first port of call after reading their reviews! I received no call back so I decided to call them at 1043am and spoke to "Sean" for over 6 minutes. I again explained the problem, with a request for an engineer/technician to call to my home and assess the state of the washing machine and enquired about a "portable" machine if the machine was unrepairable and if the old machine could be taken away as part of the service. This was agreed by Sean. He then proceeded to take my details for a visit by them and he explained the next available date would be Wednesday 22 April at the earliest, which I agreed. Whilst taking my details, he then said that the computer was "down" (!!!) and that he would call me back to finalise the visit. He took my telephone number assuming he didn't need a computer for this! I have obviously not received a callback or a response to my written notification, nor am I likely to. During the 6 minute conversation with Sean, I felt he was in the least bit interested about my situation in trying to solve it and whether it was because I stated I was a pensioner or my distinct English accent (even though I'm Irish!) I just don't know. I received a notification this morning that my reviews (mainly excellent when deserved) with some wonderful replies from those I have reviewed in the positive. It is also reasonable and fair to express dreadful experiences as I have done with Sean. I can honestly say that my overall experience with Sean has left me disgusted and bewildered for whatever reason known only to himself and if he is in any position of management in this company, then I despair!!! It is for others to decide the merit of this wholly negative review. I may be a pensioner (who deserves some respect) and if this is the way they treat people like me, then I will be happy if other potential customers will take heed!!!

Excellent service. The Iona repair guy assessed my parents washing machine, which was beyond repair. He arranged to have a new washing machine delivered and installed the same day. The Iona team went above and beyond, thank you. Highly recommended.

Amazing. The team are exceptional. Took my call, ordered my part, came within the week as i had been told, then organised for someone to come out and fit the next day i was free. Thank you Ivor for fitting it . The whole experience dealing with this company has been fantastic. But i had three different recommendations for them before going. This again shows how great they are. Thank you all.
