We met Paul through the RIAI Simon fundraiser where he donated his time for our donation. It was just for an hour but Paul gave us some great practical advice on what we could improve our home. He was very easy to chat to and really listened to our ideas and provided some great suggestions and things we should think about further. His passive house design knowledge is a real bonus especially when considering retrofitting. As a first step for us, it was a really helpful conversation and we’d like to go back to Paul again when we’re ready to move forward.
Paul's needs and options review is a great service, it helped us to decide on renovation priorities and budget. Paul was really responsive, the report done promptly and he was very helpful in answering our questions. We would be delighted to work with Paul again.
Excellent, responsive and efficient experience. Paul is approachable and understands clients' needs. Impressive turn-around-time report. Thank you!!
Very thorough and high quality service. Its been of real benefit to us to get a professional opinion while viewing properties. Would highly recommend.
PassivHaus assisted us with a Needs and Options Review process. The process was smooth and made easy by the online payment process. The Needs and Options Review assisted us in aligning the project with our budget. Thank you PassivHaus
Paul McNally’s site visit and subsequent Needs and Options Review are a very good way to start if you are considering a building project. Paul’s report gave me a very comprehensive idea of what is involved with regard to planning permission, cost, timelines etc.. for my own home extension proposal. I highly recommend taking this step if you are considering a project.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Paul to do a Needs and Options review of our new build project in Cork.

Pauls expertise from an Architectural, Engineering and Financial perspective really helped us see the path forward.

I would highly recommend Paul if you’re in the market for an experienced Architect in Cork.
Found my consultation with most helpful.
Contacted Paul initially for advice on retrofitting. I purchased the “Needs and Options Review”.
I found this to be a really worthwhile document and a great place to start when planning energy saving upgrades.
When Paul was onsite completing the survey, he highlighted a major safety issue in our kitchen that we were completely unaware of.
(This had nothing to do with the retrofitting options.) Very grateful to Paul for his advice and professionalism.
We contacted Paul and decided to purchase the 'Needs and Options Review' which is an exploratory consultation at your property with an in-depth follow up report on projected costings. This is an excellent idea as it completely negates the risk of engaging with an architect for drawings before you even know if your ideas and budget are viable! We were provided two costings, one that in-and-around met our budget, and a second which included all our ideas and wants if budget was not a boundary. To have financial projections is very helpful at this early stage. For us, this consult/review provided us with a long-term, holistic plan and has taken us out of paralysis mode - we now have a good idea of what steps to take now, with the budget that we have, and what steps to take in the future.
