I got my bathroom located on the first floor completely redone in October 2025 just before I went on holiday. I didnt have a clue and so I asked them for their advice for what they recommend. They recommended an open shower without a curtain or door. I asked if there was risk of a leak with this with water escaping and they said no there won't be an issue and so I went ahead with their recommendation. The after result appeared lovely, great tilers but not all was what it seems. When I came back from my holiday I saw a substantial leak which was coming through the ceiling (see images) at the start of November. The response I got was "strange after all this time". Several weeks after getting a bathroom redone to have a leak is not alot of time at all. I had to contact Liam several times before he sent someone out to look. The leak was because of splashing due to not being closed with a door or curtain and also water was tracing along the wall and pouring out of the shower as it wasnt closed which was the bigger problem. All they did following this was put a little bit of sealant outside the shower. This did not resolve the problem at all. I ended up buying sealant and myself and I tried to attach an extra piece to guide the water into he shower tray instead of over the side of it. I also drilled a hole into the wall to put in a shower curtain. This has reduced the problem but not completely. Disgrace that I had to do this to be honest! Then in December I turned the bathroom heater on which I had not done since they did the work. The radiator had loads of air in it and then it started leaking hugely where once again water was pouring out of the ceiling below the bathroom. The pipes which the radiator was connected to were bent at an angle to fit the radiator. I contacted Liam and he ignored me. My partner ended up resolving the issue which took half a day of work and extra supplies which I needed to pay for. And now today, there is a wet mouldy patch on my ceiling once again below the bathroom. This is 7 months after getting a refurb on my bathroom and spending a fortune. I need to decide what I am going to do next with this as I did not get what I paid for.
