We had a fantastic experience with John, Eddie and the team at Cork Tile and Wood Flooring. They made the process of choosing tiles for our renovation smooth. They offer a wide selection of tiles, and we were especially impressed with how easy it was to pick out perfectly matching grout for each choice. John & Eddie were knowledgeable and gave great advice, particularly when it came to what would work best in our space. We ended up purchasing tiles for all of our downstairs and two bathrooms. Their expertise and friendly approach really stood out. Highly recommend.

I recently bought tiles, laminate flooring and materials for a new build. Exceptional service from John and Kevin. They managed to accommodate specific requests for supplying bathware during Christmas time. The lads took care of every additional request and got thing arraged very quickly. Special shout out to Billy for arranging all the deliveries.

Went up to Cork Wood & tiling in Kinsale Road on Monday, dealt with David he seemed to be very knowledgeable in what we were looking for, all seemed OK until we got to the measurements. He gave us a rough price but he said to to home and measure the wall we were missing and to email it in, so I emailed him the missing measurement and asked him to requote it for me. It's now Thursday, iv emailed him again Tuesday to see if he had the new price for me, i rang the shop yesterday (Wednesday) to be told he was gone home early and he would contact me today, safe to say I got sorted in another business for a fraction of the price I was quoted!! Very bad customer service in my opinion.

We went to CT&WF to install flooring for the downstairs in our new build in Nov 2024. Quality of the materiel is excellent however that's where the 2 ⭐'s stop. We were told Jean would be fitting our floors which we were delighted about as his work came highly recommended. Jean sent two young lads who laid the floors, in doing so they ruined all of our skirting and left them very high off the ground and too far away from the walls. Some skirts were put back in the wrong places. After weeks of back and forth and being ignored by both Jean and John on multiple occasions, Jean agreed to come back and replace the skirts. He used a crow bar to do so and destroyed the walls in the process. This was now March 2025. We have been back and forth with John since over this. It's now Nov 2025 and I have had to organize my own painter to come and get the job fixed. We gave John multiple opportunities to organize repairs, but he would consistently forget about us and then treat it with very little urgency when reminded. Would avoid avoid avoid for their customer service and professionalism. Absolute joke to deal with - go elsewhere with your well earned money.

We were recommended this place as they can provide a tiler for you which we thought was handy. Went in and it didn't take us long to choose what tiles we wanted for our newly renovated kitchen. We picked out a brick style for the walls and a dark grey for the floor. We asked about how long would we have to wait before we could walk on the tiles and were informed it's fast setting so would be able to walk on them that evening. We paid a percentage on the day. When we got contacted that the tiler was available sooner than expected we were delighted but was told the floor tiles we had picked out they didn't have if we wanted to choose another which we did. The first morning they arrived nice and early. Unfortunately when putting up the wall tiles, he put them just one in line with the next (see photo) not like the brick style I thought they would be, he told me this is more "in stye" now than the brick way, I personally think they done this way as less work involved. Also once the floor tiles were laid we were informed that they didn't have the fast setting adhesive so we had to stay off them until the following day. This meant if we needed anything from the back of the house, we had to go out the front door around the side of the house, not the best scenario in winter. I asked could they come as early the following day as I had an appointment and didn't particularly want to leave them at the house without us being there. They arrived way later than expected which didn't leave me much time to arrange to lock the dogs away so as they wouldn't get in the way. We left them to it as they had just the grouting to do. When we arrived home they left the kitchen in an awful mess and decided to clean out their buckets and dump the dirty water in the garden. Noticed that one of the tiles on the wall was cut to short, he came back and just put silicone in the gap. When we got the kitchen installers out again to put back the kick boards we also noticed the floor tile was left short. Long story short, I would not recommend!
