I started the purchase process in September 2025 through Auctioneera’s online bidding platform, which offered very little transparency throughout the process. I proceeded in good faith, paying for a valuation and engineer’s survey, and had my loan offer issued to my solicitor.<br><br>However, from February 2026 onwards, the vendor completely stopped responding to any communication. Despite this, Auctioneera did very little to assist in obtaining a response, take accountability for the situation, or offer any compensation for the significant costs I incurred during the process.<br><br>The most frustrating part came during the deposit refund process, when Auctioneera informed me that the same vendor had pulled out at the final stage of a sale two years earlier. If this was known, why was this history not disclosed from the outset? This information would have been highly relevant to potential buyers investing time and money into the process.<br><br>As a result, I lost money on professional fees and spent months pursuing a purchase that ultimately went nowhere due to circumstances outside my control.<br><br>Based on my experience, I am very disappointed with the service and would not recommend Auctioneera.<br><br>Property: 20 Holyhill Lane, Blarney Street, Cork, T23 W9P5.
