Barry Auctioneers & Valuers

We had a fantastic experience with Barry auctioneers . Stella was fantastic to work with and kept us updated all the way along the process. Couldn't ask for better help

We recently sold our home through Barry’s Auctioneers. Gretchen Kelleher was a pleasure to deal with. I never thought selling a house could be so seamless. She was available for any questions or queries and made the process really easy for us. She guided us through each stage and kept us up to speed the entire time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gretchen if you want all the stress taken out of a sale. She was excellent and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Great to work with Stella and Kevin. Would highly recommend.

While purchasing a property recently in Cork I received excellent support from Stella who responded immediately to all questions and successfully and efficiently resolved all issues. I would recommend both her and her team.

I was introduced to Der O'Riordan of Barry Auctioneers as we begun the process to get our family home ready for sale. Der was always available to guide me on numerous queries, his professionalism, knowledge and experience of his profession is impressive, and has a depth of experience when it comes to the steps needed to navigate what can be a complex sales journey. Der has a great skill, in that he is a great listener, takes on board concerns, communicates solutions, implements and moves the sales process on. Der's constant communication with purchasers, solicitors, engineers etc., and keeping me informed, dramatically reduced my stress levels, and I felt in control throughout the sale from start to finish. We went sale agreed and sold with our family home in December 2025. A big thanks Der and team and I would fully recommend Der to anyone starting off in the sale or purchase journey. Had a wonderful experience buying a property from Barry’s auctioneers. Der was a total professional and pleasant and prompt to deal with. I will be using Barry’s if I sell a property in the future. Would highly recommend.

I recently purchased a home through Barry Auctioneers in Cork, and although Johnny O’Connor was representing the vendor rather than me, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Johnny was incredibly helpful, insightful, and responsive throughout the process—always willing to answer questions, offer guidance, and keep things moving smoothly. His professionalism and genuine approach made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. Even though he wasn’t my agent, his support and communication were second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Johnny or Barry Auctioneers to anyone buying or selling a property in Cork. I know who will be the first person I'll call if I want to sell my house in the future.

Joe and team were fantastic from start to finish. Extremely reliable and there every step of the way. Can’t thank them enough!

Gretchen is a really brilliant auctioneer- warm, professional and knows the market inside-out. It was a pleasure to deal with her on what was an emotional sale for us. Massive thanks (to both Gretchen and Kevin) for making it such a smooth transaction.

Barry Auctioneers were amazing from start to finish. Stella made the whole process completely stress-free and kept us updated every step of the way. She was extremely helpful and efficient throughout the whole process. I would happily recommend Barry Auctioneers to anyone thinking of selling. They genuinely care about their clients and it really shows.
