Our experience as buyers started very well. The viewing was excellent and the agent was professional and helpful throughout.

At that first viewing we asked directly whether it was possible to make an offer conditional on the property being taken off the market. We were told clearly that this was not an option and that it doesn't work that way. We took that at face value and bid through the open process accordingly.

Two weeks later we were the top bidder, having gone €25k over asking - on the Saturday we made that bid. We then received a call on the Tuesday to say that the underbidder had made an offer to take the property off the market, on the condition that we would not get the chance to respond. It went sale agreed on that basis. When we queried it, we were told the situation was exceptional because the buyer was international.

We were never given the opportunity we had specifically asked about and been told didn't exist, and no one told us the position had changed. Whatever about the vendor's right to accept whichever offer they choose, being told one set of rules while another bidder was allowed to play by a different set left us with very little confidence in how the process was run.

Disappointing end to what began as a genuinely good experience.
Trevor OSullivan handled our sale & we cannot recommend him highly enough. From our first meeting he demonstrated the utmost professionalism with a deep understanding of the market.

He kept us consistently informed throughout the process. We were never left wondering where things stood.

He gave us sound guidance & the advice he provided, proved to be invaluable, leading to a great sale outcome.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable auctioneer, a timely and clear communicator, look no further.
We had an excellent experience working with Laura Pratt during the sale of our home. Laura was exceptional in managing the entire process and made everything feel smooth and well organized from start to finish. She was highly professional, attentive, and dedicated to every detail throughout the sale. Her communication was always clear, and she consistently went above and beyond to support us. We truly appreciated her commitment and expertise during such an important moment for our family. We would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
From the get go, our dealings with Laura were nothing short of professional. Throughout the viewing process, she paid close attention to our various queries about the house— but most importantly maintained a constant dialogue following the viewing, providing useful updates and deadlines. Her professionalism made what is a massive ordeal seem utterly seamless.
I called and out my name down for a house in Ovens. Never received any communication thereafter.
Recently sold a property through Lisney in Cork City centre.
From Start to finish Trevor o Sullivan was exceptional to deal with.
Nothing was a problem and his attention to detail regarding paperwork & property presentation was second to none.
Could not recommend him enough and happy to do business going forward.
Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful conduct.

I contacted Trevor O’Sullivan shortly before a scheduled viewing to explain that I wouldn’t be able to make it and asked—politely—whether the viewing could be rearranged for later the same day or rescheduled. Instead of basic professionalism, I was met with rudeness and an unnecessary attitude.
This is yet another example of how, during the housing boom, some agents seem to believe common courtesy no longer applies. Market conditions are not an excuse for disrespecting people’s time or speaking down to prospective buyers or renters.
An agent in a senior role should be setting the standard for professionalism — not demonstrating the opposite.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before dealing with an agent who treats clients as disposable.
Laura made the whole experience of selling our home a lot less stressful than it could have been and was communicative and professional through the whole process. She accommodated our schedule of viewings and I trusted her knowledge and insight right up to completion of the sale. It’s a big expensive endeavour to sell so not having to worry about the house actually selling was a relief as Laura and the team had created lots of interest. If you are going to work with Laura just trust her experience and expertise and the process and let her work her magic.
