Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful conduct. I contacted Trevor O’Sullivan shortly before a scheduled viewing to explain that I wouldn’t be able to make it and asked—politely—whether the viewing could be rearranged for later the same day or rescheduled. Instead of basic professionalism, I was met with rudeness and an unnecessary attitude. This is yet another example of how, during the housing boom, some agents seem to believe common courtesy no longer applies. Market conditions are not an excuse for disrespecting people’s time or speaking down to prospective buyers or renters. An agent in a senior role should be setting the standard for professionalism — not demonstrating the opposite. I would strongly advise others to think twice before dealing with an agent who treats clients as disposable.

I am very glad that we chose Lisney Sotheby’s as our selling agents. Laura Pratt seemed to understand from the beginning that our house, being an old house with a big, secluded garden, near the town centre, was a special case and would attract a certain type of buyer. Relative to other estimates, the asking price of the house was high, but the sale price showed that this was the right strategy. The brochure depicted the house and garden to advantage. Laura was always responsive to our communications, and was unfailingly helpful and positive throughout the sale process. I would recommend Lisney Sotheby’s to anyone selling a similar house.
