I can't comment on the quality of this company's work because I cancelled their services before anything was done — I called them about a leaking roof; a relatively young, very confident gentleman came, who tried to scare me, saying how terribly poor my roof was and that these things are very expensive, then quoted me €10 000! It was about 12 m² of flat roof in fibreglass technology — it's not my field but even I know he wildly overcharged; at most a few days' work and the materials probably wouldn't have exceeded a thousand...others would quote around 3000 which was already a lot... I felt he was trying to rip me off — probably because he knew I was so desperate, so I declined. It turned out the job was doable several times cheaper .... Oh, I should add that the man subtly implied that people who delay payment after the work is done might expect retaliation, and he said he would do the job in two months' time — a very distant date considering the roof was actively leaking(badly)... Overall I do not recommend them; 100% positive reviews on Google, in my opinion, look suspicious.

My 1960's house had several leaks on original tiles and on the slate extension, and the sofits and facias needed to be replaced. I had several quotes, but from the very first conversation with Brendan I knew he had integrity and my trust in him was not misplaced.<br><br>From the start, Brendan clearly gave me the options available and costings expected. The team delivered everything promised and communicated very well throughout. The team were always reliable, polite and respectful and left the place tidy every evening. The guys were all lovely and boy do they work hard!.<br><br>In the end the roof leaks were dealt with, they took out a defunct chimney, replaced sofits and facias, I got a fibreglass roof in place of the slates as the slope is not suited to slate, I got the dormer reclad and while they did that they added insulation into the attic room. It has been so much warmer this winter as a result. They also cleaned the tiles making the place look new!<br><br>Once my roof was done, I got a quote from them to reconfigure part of my garden and build a wall. Again I was thrilled with the work they did. They worked out what was best and took care to make it really neat.<br><br>My neighbour also offered ODR work after watching how they worked and how they transformed my tired little house into a thing of beauty.<br><br>Brendan and Paul would problem solve as they went along, and the pride they take in the work is admirable. They want to do a good job. I could not be happier with the quality of the work they did for me. They have made such a difference to my house and helped me so much. I have no hesitation in recommending Brendan and his team. Five stars doesn't seem enough.

We bought a house that’s over 240 years old and were not expecting all the problems we’d face with the roof. The house has 3 separate roofs, along with a flat roof and a bay window. Immediately we needed the main 3 roofs to be fixed. We got quotes from two places—the first was only slightly cheaper—but we decided to go with Brendan at ODR Roofing because he came across as so genuine and honest. We’re so glad we did.<br><br>When the repairs began, it turned out that our chimney also needed work. The lads at ODR were so professional we hardly knew they were there—we both work from home and were worried about noise and disruption, but it wasn’t an issue at all. They stuck to their timeline and, even with the unexpected chimney repairs, everything was finished on time and within budget. We were consulted at every step, and every concern we had was put at ease.<br><br>Because of the age of the house, ventilation was a huge factor, and Brendan and the team made sure everything was done to the highest standard to ensure longevity. Many companies we contacted wouldn’t even look at the job because of the scaffolding requirements, but ODR didn’t hesitate. Meanwhile, friends of ours went with the other company we had considered, and not only did they end up paying nearly double what they were quoted, but they’re already having problems.<br><br>Our roof is now perfectly sealed and ventilated. Months later, when we noticed a leak in our bay window (a section we hadn’t had done), I rang ODR by chance and they were down within the hour—everything was sorted by midday.<br><br>I honestly can’t recommend ODR Roofing highly enough. If I could sing their praises from our amazing new roof, I would!
