Metalcraft

I wanted to place a handrail from my front door to gateway. I contacted Eddie of Metalcraft and found him responsive, prompt and well able to take account of our requirements. He arrived as promised, gave me an accurate and reasonable quotation and took account of my wish for a rail that fitted with the look of the house. He and his partner, Jamie, arrived and delivered exactly as they had undertaken and the work was completed when they said. It was very easy to deal with them - no chasing. We are very pleased with the look of the rail and would be pleased to recommend Eddie and Jamie to anyone with such a project.

Eddie made an excellent job of extending our old gates. He also painted them for us. I cannot praise the workmanship enough.

Eddie Nelson and his team at MetalCraft are true professionals. We had extensive work carried out to our very old and weary original cast iron gates. They not only completely renovated them but also extended the originals in a conservation and authentic manner. Its true craftsmanship. Other metal/ironworks had told me that it'd be easier and less expensive to dump the gates we had - but Eddie saw what they could be! And they are now back to their original state - really beautiful, conservation approach, using salvaged granite for new pillar (they are great with stonework too). Eddie and his team were on time, professional, and the quote was extremely competitive. They also gave me a full history of the gates and where they had come from and how they were made. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Based on their website and references from customers they had carried out work for I engaged this company to fabricate some metalwork in my house and garden. They fabricated and installed bespoke steel handrails in our garden and a box metal support structure under a balcony in our house. They visited prior to the job to measure up for the materials that would be required and arrived early on the appointed day Eddie and Jamie carried out the work to a very high professional standard and it was a pleasure to see a work team taking a genuine interest in the project they were working on. They completed the welding and painting of the finished handrails within the agreed timescale I can highly recommend this company without reservation to anyone wishing to have welding work carried out and will certainly engage them again when the need arises. Did a stunning job restoring a set of 1890 iron gates and railings on a restoration of a victorian red brick. Hugely impressed and grateful for all of the effort put in.
