Im 51 and have never ever set foot in a gym, always too self conscious and uneasy at the thought. Ive just joined and Im absolutely thrilled I did. Zero fitness level and Ive been welcomed, guided and educated through everything. Closest thing to having a personal trainer, youre shown what to do and everyone in the room is doing reps suited to their fitness/strength. Trainers are kind and supportive and the other women there are welcoming and friendly. Blessed to have a gym like this locally. Can't recommend enough..if youre on the fence like I was, just give it a go.
Hands down the best gym experience I’ve ever had. From day one, the ladies have been incredibly welcoming and motivating, and all of trainers are truly top-tier. I feel stronger than I ever have, and the improvement I’ve seen since my very first session has been huge. CP Fitness has completely changed how I feel about ‘gym culture’, and I actually look forward to showing up. Couldn’t recommend it more.
I've been a member at CP Fitness for 1.5 years and can honestly say I would be lost without it. I was one year post partum when I joined and absolutely terrified. From past experiences, I was thinking of a gym as a place that focuses on weight loss, huge amounts of pressure and being shouted at by trainers. This place is NOT that. What this gym actually is about, is making time for yourself. Instead of dreading working out, I actually look forward to my time at the gym each week. I hate missing it. That is 100% down to the incredible, supportive coaches and their methods of working with us on an individual level, encouraging us to get stronger and trusting us to know our limits. Each coach is like a trainer / physio / therapist / friend at this point. You can tell they really care about people and that they really love their job. You will meet women of all ages from all walks of life at this gym. If you're reading this review because you're considering joining - do it!
I joined CP nearly 3 years ago now and it has become part of my routine ever since. The small group training sessions are fantastic, you’re guided through the plan for the 45 minute session and given the time to finish out each round of exercises. The trainers are also really great at making sure you’re performing the moves correctly and getting the most out of the workout. They’ll also push you to challenge yourself which we all need! The gym is a real community and as a new resident to the area, I’ve met so many new people through it. I’d recommend it to anyone.
I’ve been going to CP Fitness in Cabra for a year now and I genuinely love it. It’s a women’s-only gym and the coaches are all excellent at what they do — supportive, knowledgeable and motivating. The environment is so friendly and inclusive, and all the women who train there are lovely, which makes it such a comfortable place to work out. If anyone has anxiety about joining a gym, I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough — give it a go.
