Pat organised a chimney repair for me a few weeks ago. I had a rather bad leak from my chimney which needed urgent attention. The whole process was explained in layman's talk. Just as well, because I'm a plank when it comes to building terminology.<br><br>The date, time and cost were agreed. The work commenced on time and finished ahead of schedule due to the hard work of the roofers, a nice bunch of lads. Irish Roofers Dublin 14 did an excellent job with my skylight installation. Professional, efficient, and great attention to detail. The skylight fits perfectly with no leaks, and it has made a fantastic difference to the room. Fair pricing and friendly service. This cowboy redid the roof on my ma's house. They agreed a price and then Alan turns up the day before the job and asks for an extra €1000. There was a storm coming that week so she had to agree to it.<br>After all that the roof leaked worse than before. Kept calling Alan but he fobs her off every time.<br>Alan was incredibly aggressive with getting payment. Rang her 7 times in 1 day and then insisted on being paid in cash.<br>The worst tradesman I've ever had any dealings with. Horrible.
