SHD and Barra were referred to me by a friend who is in the building game. I cannot recommend this company enough. From our first contact, Barra was very helpful and informative. We are pretty clueless when it comes to these things so having Barra to "dumb" everything down for us and keep us in the loop made the process so much better and out us at ease.<br><br>When Barra met us at our house, there was no rush. We explained what our plans were and Barra advised us about the potentials and obstacles we might face and what we could to.<br><br>I will be actively referring SHD to anyone I know who will be in need of their service going forward.

I retained SHD to complete a structural review and certification of a recently completed attic conversion. Staff were available at short notice to attend site and completed a plan for additional strengthening in less than week. Once the works were in progress SHD attended site to review the works and a certificate of compliance was issued again in a timely fashion. Throughout the process staff were available and kept me updated on progress All interactions were positive and dealt with in a professional manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending SHD.
