RED RAW ROTTEN First mistake I made was walking in the door. Product knowledge had to be verified by the employee going back to his laptop every time to check the companies website. Very quick to take full payment straight away, with no option for deposit payment. It’s all in stock I was told. Rang up one week after ordering, to be told that nothing had been dispatched from the warehouse as they were waiting for two taps to come into stock. Which were due in on the next day. Asked for in stock items to be sent, only to ring back a week later and be told nothing had been sent yet. Staff blame bad communication, even though I have only dealt with one person in there. On a separate order where the item was over the €699 to receive free delivery, I was charged a delivery fee by the manager. When I questioned this, he said the offer was only available online. I messaged BathShack online and they said the free delivery was available online, in store and nationwide. In order to get this refund back it took over one month. Very quick to take your money, but very slow to give it back. When I went to fit the shower tray I noticed the grate I received was incorrect and I wasn’t 100% sure if I could use the trap or needed a different one so I rang first thing the next morning to check. I rang 25 times to two numbers for the store without a single answer. and no phone calls back, when I eventually got through after messaging them online to see if the store was actually open, I was told they hadn’t any missed calls from me, which I find odd as both numbers had been answered before. I finally received the taps 4 weeks after the original order was placed, but once again it was me ringing them, “oh the taps just came in 10 minutes ago” I was told. They knew I was desperate for them but still I’m the one ringing to check their whereabouts. I had to make numerous trips into BathShack to collect my items and when I eventually got the last of them after spending over €2,000, I was handed the taps and not as much as a thank you or sorry for the delay from any of the 3 employees standing at the desk twiddling their thumbs. All in all, terrible customer service. Once they take your money, you are just a number to them.
