Gibbons electrical were recommended to me by a work mate. I had a quick response with a proposal for a solar installation and he came out within a few days to survey the house. He was busy but managed to install my system within the month due to cancellations and holdups. Post installation service was also prompt when an RCD needed changing for one with a higher rate with it being replaced the day after calling.

Had solar panels installed 3 weeks after the visit for the quote. Dave is an electrician by trade and did all the electrical work himself. He explained everything in simple language and showed me how to use the app. System is working perfectly and showing good results for this time of the year. I highly recommend Gibbons Electrical

I am very happy with the solar panel and battery installation. I went all out for 24 panels (10.8 kW) and 3 battery packs (15kWh) and have not regretted it. David and the team were quick to respond and install. Seamless from start to finish. Delayed delivery of equipment did not prevent David getting the job done on time. Highly recommended!

What can I say but excellent. From the moment David Gibbons arrived at my home to explain how he would fit the solar panels and surrounding system, I knew it would be a good job. He took the time to explain how if I went with 20 panels rather than the 16 I was thinking about, how I would be virtually bill free across the year when you average it out. He then sent me the option of two quotes, for 16 or 20 panels. I went with the 20 option. He explained it would be a 3 week lead into the fitting, but it turned out to be about 10 days. On the day, I started work at about 4am and by the time I was home at 2pm, they had more or less finished fitting the system. There was no fuss, no mess, no hassle, just a well done tidy job. The panels were neatly on my roof, the batteries and associated equipment tidily fixed to my gable end wall. All the electrical work in the house is top notch, safe and secure. David explained how it all worked to me and herself very well. Since installation we have had no problems, and have been on average 67% energy independent, which I think for October and November is not bad at all. They also handle all the paperwork, do the grant application with you, send round their lovely BER assessor Simon and stay in touch until everything is sorted out. If you want to take the leap to Solar, then David Gibbons Electrical and Solar is a great company to go with.
