⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One in a Million — Outstanding,Solicitor We were caught in a stressful and complicated property situation where our company, Cruisebrook Limited, had paid a €65,000 deposit on a property. Despite that, we weren’t allowed to view the property, and the condition had seriously deteriorated. At the time, we were representing ourselves in court and had contacted numerous solicitors for help. But because the case was urgent and complicated, most of them simply didn’t want to get involved. Then we spoke to Susan — and she was completely different. Even though she was clearly busy herself, she gave us 15 to 20 minutes of her time on the phone, calmly explaining exactly what steps we should take. She advised us to bring a motion for judgment in default, as the defendant hadn’t appeared in court. She explained how that would strengthen our position, and how making the auctioneers aware of live court proceedings could force the other side to engage with us. We followed her advice to the letter, and just a few days before the auction, on the 16th of June 2025, we received a formal offer from the other side to refund our full €65,000 deposit — on the condition we discontinued the court proceedings, which we were happy to do. The most remarkable part? Susan never charged us a single penny for her time and advice.
