DISHWASHER REPAIR. When I left my information at the store, I described the problem step by step. I explained that the machine turns on, fills with hot water, starts, stops, and then displays an error. When the engineer arrived, he asked what was wrong with the dishwasher? He didn't even look at the information I'd provided. An engineer came to my house, stopped by for five minutes without even performing a detailed diagnosis. He glanced at the control panel and the error number displayed, and said it was the heating element and motor. I explained that the hot water was filling the machine, it starting to run, and then stopping. Without heating element hot water can not be added to tank. The engineer took 70 euros and said he'd look into it and tell me how much spare parts would cost. A couple of days later, he called me and said the parts would cost around 300 euros and recommended adding 50 euros and buying a new one. I replied that no, I had already paid for the repair, and no repairs had been made. I said I will pay for the parts and want to get the dishwasher fixed. I knew he hadn't even bothered to troubleshoot the problem. He'd just stopped by to collect the money for the callout. I paid another 270 euros for spare parts. They arrived a week later, and an engineer came to replace them. After the replacement, naturally, nothing worked, and I was told that something else would need to be replaced, but he didn't know what. I said I wouldn't pay for a spare part that didn't need replacing at all and asked him to take it back. I returned to the store, asked for a refund, and said I didn't want to deal with them anymore. They refunded money for the part. Thanks for that. I wish I'd read customer reviews about dishwasher repairs with them, before contacting them for service, then I wouldn't have lost 70 euros for callout.
Could not recommend The Service Centre highly enough. Karen really went out of her way to contact the company, & get my hob repaired. Because of her, I will certainly continue to buy in Finucanes.

Great service. Contacted them about an oven. Karen was very helpful and knowledgeable. Alan called to do repair, despite snow and ice, and all sorted. I was delighted I didn't have to replace the cooker. I will definitely be back if I have any appliance issues. Thanks
Great service. William came when scheduled on Sat morning with my new integrated fridge freezer from Finucanes. He was very efficient and did it seamlessly. Had to change hinges and was very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend their services.
