I've used RH on a couple of occasions. Most recently, they saved me nearly €500 on the cost and installation of a stovetop part and while they were at it, they dropped off a good-as-new washing machine for half the retail price. When I see the bins full of discarded appliances rusting in the rain outside Ennis Electrical or Ennis 'Recycling' Centre, it really saddens me. I'm thankful that we still have great repair shops like this!
Very disappointed with the customer service by Darren and Richard at at Richard Hayes Appliances. On Monday 19tu Jan I rang their number and got through to Darren to inquire about getting a replacement Hepa filter for my cordless vacuum thst I urgently needed. I had made it easy for him by sending him photographs to his Whatsapp of the model number and the vacuum itself but I heard nothing at all back. I then dropped into Richard Hayes yesyerday after work before closing, and met Richard himself (place is a crazy mess) and he was very unhelpful. I tried calling again and it went straight to voicemail and still no call back. After I mentioned that I drove there directly to inquire as was no reply/ call back from Darren, he made no apology and just said 'we only do Dyson filters here and better you order online'. It would have been good if he at least said sorry there was no reply etc. as any other business would after having to drive there. I would not be recommending this business to anyone and can understand how these places end up shutting down if they don't care about people.
I urgently needed a replacement hose for the dishwasher, not just any hose, but the right one for this model. It was found in seconds in the inexhaustible parts warehouse - used but OK. Many thanks, you made my day.
