I ordered a small tin of paint online from pat McDonnell's paint the paint was delivered the very next day could not believe it was delivered so fast to say I'm impressed is an understatement excellent service I highly recommend
Not a good experience - specific paint colour we asked for sweet cashew was not the same as colour in the duplex app and a tin we already had at home..tried to say that the colour we had bought from a different shop was wrong even though it matches the dulux colour app perfectly but not their mix. Also told them how many doors were painting and sold us 5 litres when 3 would have done.. won't be going back there again.. dreadful customer service
I have a dark mauve colour in one of my front rooms and wanted a paint that would go with that in my front hall and other front room, After buying multiple paint sample pots and trying them on my walls to no avail I went to pat mc Donnells and met Ger the colour specialist, I told him my problem and he came up with a beautiful combination of paints for my walls and doors in no time that compliments the other room, I’m delighted with how it turned out and I never would have gone for the paint he suggested myself, I couldn’t recommend them enough, all the staff are helpful and friendly, in future I won’t go anywhere else, they are a cut above the rest.
We visited Pat McDonnells paint today as two working professionals and had the worst customer service imaginable. The shop was extremely quiet with one other customer to be served with two people working. We waited in the shop for twenty minutes and nobody asked if we needed any help. After waiting up to twenty minutes the man working there asked if we needed anything as we were waking out the door and was extremely rude. We explained that we have just bought a house and were looking for paint for the entire premises but his attitude remained completely ignorant as he leaned on the counter and proceeded to chew his chewing gum. I would strongly advise not visiting this paint shop as the customer service is shocking. Will not be visiting again.
Great selection and made to order if required. Buyer beware though. Do your homework on prices first. They have a price matching promise but it's up to you to prove it's cheaper elsewhere. Bought a 750ml Dulux easycare here for €20.61. The exact same paint is €17.95 in The Range, not special offer.
