We are so grateful to William and his fab team for their excellent work on our complicated roof. Once the first slates were off and we inevitably discovered more rot than expected, William was great about explaining to us what options we had, and helping us come to a good decision for the future of our home. Even though the job was ultimately bigger than expected, it was finished efficiently and with minimal disruption to the rest of the house and garden. The team was on the job from 8:30 AM every day and powered through the work, and William was careful to make sure everything progressed according to the agreed plan and any changes or emergent details were clearly communicated, discussed and agreed. Even from the moment I first contacted him about the work, William was both a professional and a gentleman, careful to follow up throughout and let me know the status of when our work could be started, I cannot recommend his company enough.
We had a bad leek in a small roof extension that needed a complete replacement. William Long had a team on site at 9.00am and they did not stop until the roof was secure, watertight, and tidy. I was asked every so often to view progress which was reassuring. His price was reasonable also. Hopefully in 10 years I'll stillbe happy

Had my slate roof replaced along with work on the flat roof and bay window. The whole job was carried out to a very high standard, everything neat, well-finished, and done within the timeframe promised. The crew were tidy, efficient, and easy to deal with.
