WELL-KNOWN AND NICE GUYS WORK DONE IN HALF AN HOUR Time for the labor and a welcome coffee 💪🏼❤️
I took the car to the garage to replace the damaged windshield. After picking up the car, I realized the next day that the drip tray under the windshield was damaged and had been glued with silicone. So I called the shop and they told me that the drip tray has three hooks and double-sided tape. This is not true because it only has hooks (lack of competence). Then they told me to go to the shop so they could explain it better. I went to the shop where they told me that the piece had been glued not by them but by a mechanic when he had done a service. This is inexplicable because that part is not even touched for a service. Then a colleague himself easily removed that piece and you could see that the silicone was still fresh because it was still spreading on your fingers. So it is clear that the piece had been damaged and then glued and without a shred of silence they denied the evidence. As a serious person, I avoided the discussion because I realized that I had found myself in front of unserious people without a clue. A bit of ethics and professionalism. As they say in my area, washing a donkey's head is a waste of time and soap. Moral of the story: I'm still dissatisfied with the service, but I still bought the original part, paying €80 for it, and everything is fine. Meanwhile, it still gives bad publicity to the Carglass Casavatore branch. I recommend training the staff to avoid any inconvenience with customers. I also recommend taking photos before the service so as to be able to document any suspected problems in the event of an unexpected event. Thanks for the service, even if...
I went to the workshop to replace a window glass, which I only replaced since I had brought the glass. Admitting that the glass was unfortunately incorrect, I, not being in the industry, couldn't have known, so I trusted the seller. Only after removing the car's panel did they notice the problem—that the glass wasn't right. To be honest, I felt guilty, even though I think since they're in the industry, everything should have been checked first. The manager's comment to the staff in front of me, the customer, was unpleasant, almost as if to imply that the error with the glass was unwelcome and time-consuming. I understand, but it should be handled differently. As a polite and honest person, I asked for the amount due for the inconvenience, and the response was typical of voluntary gratuities to workers. I advise the manager... it's better to charge for the inconvenience and issue a receipt, which, if returned for the correct glass installation, could be recovered, thus avoiding the potential loss of future work. Personally, I will have the work done elsewhere after the aforementioned behavior.
I had a broken glass after someone had been breaking into my car. At an authorized Mercedes shop they could replace the glass for 130€, but they would need 6-7 days to get the glass. As I was travelling I went to this Car glass shop. Was told they could replace the glass right away for 250€, which I accepted. I tipped the guys doing the repair with 15€. After the repair there’s a large number of scratches by the switch blanking plate on the door handle. One screw in the door panel is missing. The one by the door handle only fastened half way. One of three screw covers is missing. One is no longer able to stay in place. Door panel clips not pushed in place. Rubber seal around the window was not placed under the rubber seal on the window beside it. Glass from the broken window was not cleaned up from the car. Sometimes when it rains water comes through the window sealing. I had to pay 305€ as the 250€ I was initially told was without VAT. Where I come from it's the law that price info for consumers must be with VAT, and I would assume it's the same for all of the EU.
Carglass Casavatore is truly a workshop where you'll find qualified staff and, above all, certified glass. 👌 I visited them for a 500L windshield replacement and they did an excellent job. 👌👍 Luca and his staff deserve respect and consideration.
