I trained at Doria Fitness Club during a two-month stay in Rome, and it ended up being a great find. It’s in a prime location right in the center of the city, which made it incredibly convenient. As someone who travels full-time and works hard to keep a consistent routine, having a gym this accessible and reliable made a big difference. The facility is well maintained and has everything you need for effective training. I was able to lift, condition, and move through workouts without any issues. The changing rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall environment feels organized and calm. The staff were consistently pleasant and professional, which made going there regularly easy. For travelers or anyone staying in central Rome who wants a solid gym that covers all the essentials, this is a great option. I will absolutely return on my next stay.
What an amazing gym, visited twice during my vacation in Rome. Fully equipped, seemingly infinite rooms. If I lived in Rome, I would sign up for a long term membership. The only thing is the price. A day pass is 30 euros for just the gym, and I believe 50 if you want showers, lockers, and spa. When the gym was 3 minutes away from closing time I was exiting and wanted to buy a protein drink but staff said they were already closed. That was a bummer for me but it’s understandable and the staff was nice otherwise. Really good equipment though and appreciate the provision of liquid chalk. Cute Roman decorations in this otherwise modern gym.
I give this gym 2 starts. 1 for Laura who works in the front who was super friendly and helpful. 1 star for offering a day pass to tourists. That was the only good thing about this gym. I wsnted to run and it took me 10 mins to find a working treadmill. I have been all over thr world including some of the most expensive cities. I have trained in Equinox and gyms of that calliber and have never seen a day pass for $30 for such an under-maintained gym. The A/C was also turned off in the cardio room so it was a sauna/gym. I prefer to try and run outside much cooler and better for the health. Suprised this is the only available gym in the area that offers day passes in a place with tons of tourist. Very sad. Also They dont offers day passes free water fountain to the members. They told me to just drink water from the toilet wash basin.
Doria Fitness Club, Rome Finding Doria Fitness Club was an absolute win. I was searching for a weekly pass to a place that offered a full gym experience, with access to a spa, sauna, jacuzzi, and ideally located in central Rome — and I found it. From the first contact, everything was smooth and professional. We communicated easily via WhatsApp in English, and they informed me the weekly pass was €99 — excellent value for what you get. When I arrived, I discovered a gym with real Italian style — a blend of vintage charm and functional excellence. The space is circular in layout, which gives it a unique feel, and it includes multiple training rooms, plenty of equipment, and a peaceful atmosphere, right in the heart of Rome. The service was exceptional. Laura and Mariana at the front desk were incredibly helpful and warm. They gave me a full tour, explained everything with care, and made me feel truly welcomed. The gym is never overcrowded, has Wi-Fi, showers, lockers, and a supplement shop. But perhaps one of the biggest surprises is the in-house café and restaurant, where they serve protein shakes, healthy meals, and offer space to relax post-workout. Overall, this place is a hidden gem for travelers or locals seeking a solid, stylish, and complete fitness experience in Rome. Highly recommended — one of the best weekly fitness options I’ve found anywhere in Europe.
Great gym in the heart of Rome! It has all the equipments that one might need and more! And the staff is super friendly!
