I commissioned Dr. Giacopetti to furnish two rooms in my home, with some additional suggestions regarding other spaces, particularly lighting. From the initial stages, I found the financial terms of the assignment unclear. Only later did it become clear that the fee quoted was for each room, not the total; only at an even later stage was it clarified that the fee referred to a "basic" package, while for a "designer" package—including lighting, which I had requested from the outset—the cost tripled compared to what was initially quoted. Overall, I had the impression that the assignment was initially presented with a low price, which was then progressively reformulated and increased, resulting in a significantly more expensive final result than initially offered. Beyond the financial aspects, I also found the professional service overall unsatisfactory. The furniture selection process consisted almost exclusively of offering items from the catalog of a single furniture company, which the professional regularly uses, and which I later discovered could be contacted directly without intermediaries. The comments I had made after receiving the proposal—particularly my disagreement with certain choices, such as the TV stand and lighting—were not adequately addressed. The proposal appeared essentially one-sided, with little consideration given to the photographic material and the information I had provided to represent personal tastes and needs. A further limitation, in my opinion, is the fact that the design process is almost exclusively tied to the furnishings available in the reference company's catalog, from which the professional (by her own admission) receives a percentage of sales, with no real openness to alternative solutions, despite my explicit requests to that effect. For this reason, my perception is that the service offered is closer to a furniture sales intermediation activity than a true architectural and interior design service, and moreover, with a smaller variety of solutions than that offered by many furniture stores. Only after numerous reminders and months of waiting was I sent a new proposal, which I found even less thorough, also referring to commercial solutions easily found online. This version also lacked a complete overhaul of the lighting, despite the commitments made. I encountered similar issues with the design of so-called "custom" furnishings, which were effectively outsourced to an external furniture manufacturer. The professional provided a merely preliminary drawing, without allowing for a direct discussion before developing the final design, making it difficult to discuss technical aspects that were essential to me (anchors, opening mechanisms, sockets, and light fixtures). For these reasons, I ultimately preferred to contact a furniture store myself, obtaining a similar price but with a direct and timely discussion regarding the technical details. In conclusion, my overall experience was not satisfactory, and based on the above, I would not recommend this service. Beyond a cordial approach only on a formal level, I found limited attention to the client's needs and a quality of service that, in my case, did not justify the costs. UPDATE: The architect's response. Giacopetti, which can be read by anyone below and is likely the result of the use of artificial intelligence tools, does not correspond to any concrete initiative to remedy the errors committed: they are just words, not even particularly appreciable (given the use of stereotyped and empty formulas) which have not been followed by any remedy initiative.
We developed the Officine Business project in Ascoli Piceno together with Eleonora, working closely and in a very short timeframe. Eleonora's solutions truly made a difference, and the client was extremely happy and satisfied. Thank you, Eleonora, for your advice. We're confident it will be the first of many. Note: Whether it's a residential or commercial renovation, getting off to a good start is crucial.
I found Eleonora after doing an online search for interior designers in Rome. We purchased a vacation home a few years ago, complete with all the furniture and decor, and we wanted to make it our own. Eleonora contacted me a few days in advance, reminding me to send her all the information for a two-hour design consultation (photos, floor plan, wishes), and on the appointed day, she arrived with a smile, an assistant, and tons of ideas, including models of my home based on the mood board I'd sent her. We spent time in every room, and she gave me ideas that were completely in line with the vision I wanted to achieve in the apartment: it was amazing how much she understood my sensibilities and taste. Now—instead of feeling confused and paralyzed by what to do—I'm full of energy and equipped with tons of ideas, resources, suppliers, and plans I can dive into. I highly recommend working with Eleonora!
I contacted her after accidentally seeing her profile on Facebook for a bathroom design project (which later included the living room and kitchen). From the very first moment, I was delighted by her expertise, innovative ideas, and a high level of professionalism, unlike other professionals, as well as an excellent quality/price ratio. I'm very satisfied with the final result, thanks also to her staff; she prepared a high-quality rendering, perfectly interpreting my tastes. The deadlines were met with professionalism. She provided me with many ideas and concrete solutions through a photographic presentation reproduced with transparencies lasting about an hour, clarifying any doubts I had about the choice of materials, colors, and lighting. Finally, I was given all the necessary materials to go to the store and place orders with ease, without any margin for error. Given the very positive experience, I will know who to contact for the other spaces I still have to complete in the future.
A true professional!!! My husband and I chose Eleonora to design and render our home because, from the first phone call, she inspired a great deal of trust, a sense of collaboration, and great availability. We are truly satisfied with the project Eleonora created for us. Besides being a brilliant interior designer, she is also a very kind person who truly cares about her work. She tried to accommodate all our requests to the best of her ability and was always available to promptly respond to any of our questions or concerns. For us, it was truly a pleasant discovery. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts ♥️
