We recently rented a house in Rome through Pompei Realty and had an excellent experience from start to finish. That level of accessibility and care really stood out to us.<br><br>We are also very happy with the apartment itself. It was handed over in excellent condition and was genuinely ready to move into. Everything was in working order, and thoughtful touches such as the bedding and towels being set up made settling in much easier. We were also assigned a dedicated property manager for any maintenance requests or questions during our tenancy, which gives great peace of mind and reflects the level of service Pompei provides. The entire paperwork and contracting process was handled efficiently and professionally, making what could have been a stressful international move feel remarkably smooth.<br><br>One thing prospective tenants should keep in mind is that Pompei Realty offers more of a premium relocation service than a traditional rental agency, which means their fee structure is different from the standard transitorio model used by most brokers in Rome. Their essential service is to provide short to medium-term rentals which may seem pricier than other houses, but is worth the cost. Rather than a one-time fee tied to a 3+2 or 4+1 contract, you pay a brokerage fee each time the contract is renewed. To be fair, this is communicated clearly by Pompei, and it reflects the fact that they continue to provide ongoing support throughout your tenancy rather than simply disappearing after the contract is signed. We are simply sharing this for newcomers to Rome like us, so they can factor it into their budget from the outset.<br><br>Overall, we couldn't be happier with the service we received.
